EPS Repeat Prescriptions
We are now set up to send prescriptions electronically to your nominated pharmacy, just let us or your pharmacy know that you would like your prepared prescription sent over direct for collection from your nominated pharmacy and you can eliminate having to collect from the surgery. Continue to request either by dropping in at the surgery, requesting through your pharmacy or online.
- By Hand – drop your repeat slip in at reception with the required items clearly marked.
- By Post – send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you.
- Online – follow the link at the top of this page and carry out a simple registration.
We kindly request our patients to help us reduce the volume of incoming calls by not phoning the surgery to ask if your prescription is ready. By allowing the 48 hours for turnaround of your script you need only go to collect your prescription from your designated pharmacy or from the surgery.
Please allow 48 hours (two full working days) between requesting and collecting your medication from the practice or your nominated pharmacy. We would also advise that pharmacies may not be able to dispense immediately so do please allow enough time for repeat prescriptions to be prepared and not run short.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see either a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications.
